Contractors and Freelancers could benefit as economy improves
30 January, 2010
Talented contractors and freelancers could benefit in the current economic climate.
A report has it that according to Manpower, the fall in the working age population could cause a vacuum which will need to be filled by freelancers with specialist skills. Chairman and Chief Executive, Jeff Joerres, feels that freelancers may be well placed to capitalise on changing employment trends.
Given the expected changes in the labour market, it could be expected that companies will rely more on the expertise of non-permanent workers with flexible working opportunities becoming more plentiful.
It has also been suggested that a professionally designed website could be a way in which freelancers and contractors could advertise their skills effectively to a wide range of clients.
