Could single-mindedness, determined attitude and sharp focus be critical factors to the success of contractors and freelancers?
Amy S. Choi a staff writer for BusinessWeek SmallBiz has suggested that contractors and freelancers can best realize their dreams if they adopt an attitude of obsession as this is at the very core of the entrepreneurial spirit.
Quoting co-founder of Zipcar and chief executive officer of GoLoco - Robin Chase, Amy reiterated what it took to complete a passion project successfully.
“This sort of single-mindedness … is what has helped propel Chase to success. I’d venture that other entrepreneurs who dive into their business ventures wholeheartedly have the same,” she explained.
Based on these suggestions contractors and freelancers should be looking for innovated and creative ideas and taking them head-on in a “single-minded” fashion.
