IT Contractors see demand continuing

In January and February recruitment of IT contractors beat all expectations and the demand for their services continues to rise, while those in permanent jobs have suffered badly during the recession with many firms having to reduce their permanent head-count.
Some reports say that there is a slight recovery in recruitment but that it is still too early to get excited, as January is often the beginning of new budgets and may only be reflecting a positive trend in hiring.
